A Christmas Miracle, from Charles

A few weeks ago, I found a wonderful treasure!

It was kind of miraculous, actually. I was just searching through an old email inbox, and I typed in a search prompt. When I typed in the search information (I was looking for a different person), up came a bunch of old emails, from Charles! (Charles died more than 11 years ago.) The emails were communications between us over the years. We liked to stay connected, even throughout the day, and so we emailed quite often. This was before texting!

I stayed up all night searching through all of our new found old messages. My heart felt full and warm with love, and hot tears covered my cheeks. I started saving some of my favorite things that he wrote, to use for later.

I didn’t think “later” would actually be sooner; but during a conversation I had with my mom, she encouraged me to put them in a book.

And so… I did!

Here is the little book I made, using sweet thoughts of love from Charles over the years. I also included some lovely things he wrote from his journals. This is my Christmas present this year! Woohoo! What could be better than words of affirmation, encouragement, and love from Charles! It is such a treasure to me. I can’t even use words to express how much his words mean to me. I feel like he helped me to remember who I really am. My heart feels more full of love again! Yay!

I made the book on Canva, and the images were created using Canva’s gallery. It was so fun to put together!

I ordered a copy for my nightstand… or I might leave it on my day stand! 😉

The book is in the mail, and on the way!

I thought I would share it here, too…

Words are powerful. Use them wisely.

I am so grateful for Charles and the wonderful man he will always be.

Most of the quotes can be applied to both the past when he wrote them, and even now while we are living across the veil from each other. How amazing.

The “I love you” and “I love Mari” at the end, are in his own handwriting.

Merry Christmas to me!
