Weeping in Watercolor

I put my art, heart and thoughts together into a book called, Weeping in Watercolor.

I have not published it, yet. (Other than on my blog.) I am not sure how to approach actual book publishing; but I am open to it.

This book was made as a 10 hour service project for my English class (it took longer than 10 hours). The task turned into something that felt more personal and profound than a school assignment. It started to feel important. The idea of putting this together came as a flash of inspiration in the middle of the night, and it all began to flow freely after that.

I have had quite a few people ask me to put my paintings and writings together into a book, and I decided to take their advice. This is phase one… publishing a book might come later, if I figure out that process. (Does anyone know how to go about publishing a book?)

This short book was written for those who have loved and lost.

My heart knows your heart.

My hope is that you feel your broken heartbeats are heard and understood.

I hope that Weeping in Watercolor helps; even just for a moment while reading it.

I read your other blog years ago, and while we don’t know each other, I admire your faith and strength. I wish to pass along a compliment. Today I saw your son Dan sing at a college graduation. It was phenomenal!
